Hello Double Curve, from the beginning I read your blog and I really like your “format”. It is my first collaboration and today I come to talk to you about my first Traveler Notebook, and how the idea came about.
Well, to begin with, a Traveler Notebook is nothing more than a blank notebook / notebook, which is traveling from destination to destination, and in which the participants fill in the pages with different proposed themes.
When the notebook has already passed through all the participants, it goes back to the person who sent it for the first time [its creator / owner] and it has a super nice memory, with different people and cities.
As each person decorates the pages with unique and different style, the notebook becomes a wonderful mixture of colors and details.
Basically that’s how I was inspired to create my own travel notebook, if you dare to create yours, I leave you the link of how the idea of making my version of the Traveler Notebook came up.
In my traveler’s notebook I made sections such as:
* recommends a movie.
* favorite song / songs.
* social networks.
In addition to “Welcome”, registration of participants, instructions on how to make your pages in order, etc. Here are some examples.
The notebook was sent on May 3, 2017, which the first participant arrived on the 30th of that month [which by the way, as always Correos de Chile and its delays of mailings or “misplacements” of correspondence. Luckily it was not the case. ] anyway…
The Notebook began its journey on May 3, 2017 as I said before, and its term was on January 5, 2018.
It visited the communes / cities of:
* San Ramón – Santiago de Chile.
* Central Station – Santiago.
* Iquique – I region of Tarapacá.
* Maipú – Santiago de Chile.
* Ñuñoa – Santiago.
* San Bernardo – Santiago.
It’s a really nice experience, in general, I liked everything, colors, the creativity of each one, that they showed me part of you in photos [their families, a typical place in their city / town, etc.] And every word of encouragement , your best wishes and / or blessings to me on your “birthday cards” for me. In general I liked everything, except what I did not like is that they have not calculated the pages and some were left blank, but I can say … Thank you infinite !!!!!!!!
And this does not end here, this year it’s my 30th and I want to celebrate in a big way so ideas and / or suggestions are accepted.
